Projects in The Park of Unity

The Park of Unity consists of the Matrimandir, the Petals. the Banyan Tree, the Amphitheatre, the twelve gardens, the Garden of Unity , the Garden of the Unexpected and the Oval Road. The Park of Unity will be surrounded by the Lake.

The Park of Unity is not yet complete. Of the twelve Gardens, only six can be said to be complete. They are the Gardens of Consciousness, Light, Life, Power, Wealth and Progress.

Of the remaining gardens, the Gardens of Existence and Bliss are already in their second incarnation and both are work in progress.. The Garden of Utility is under construction.

Work has just begun in The Garden of Harmony. The Gardens of Youth and Perfection are at the design stage

And the Oval Road is still under construction.

The remaining projects in the Park of Unity are

To complete the paving of the Oval Road
To design and build the Gardens of Youth, Harmony and Perfection;
To complete the construction of the Gardens of Existence, Bliss and Utility.

The Oval Road

The Gardens of the Park of Unity are encircled by an Oval Road which is being clad with granite grey and red cobblestones. The Oval Road is 1.1 kilometer long. The section between the East and West Pathways to the North has already been paved. Work began in June 2025 to clad the Eastern section. Altogether about 520 meters remain to be clad
